La rincorsa al Manchester City di Guardiola e del neo acquisto Erling Braut Haaland è partita. La Premier League ha il suo nuovo calendario. Il campionato 2022/23 prenderà il via il prossimo 5 agosto con l’anticipo della prima giornata tra Crystal Palace e Arsenal.
Il mercato ancora deve iniziare ufficialmente ma già le due contendenti al titolo della passata stagione, Manchester City e Liverpool, si sono rinforzate notevolmente in attacco. I Citizens hanno coronato il sogno di Haaland (suo padre ha indossato quella maglia) mentre i Reds (finalisti perdenti della scorsa Champions League) hanno sborsato ben 100 milioni per accaparrarsi il bomber uruguaiano Darwin Nunez.
In attesa di capire come si rinforzeranno Manchester United (del neo tecnico Ten Hag), Chelsea (Lukaku è vicino al ritorno all’Inter), il Tottenham di Conte e l’Arsenal, ad oggi, le due favorite appaiono proprio Manchester City e Liverpool.
